Hello, and welcome to our website. We are Karen and Rikki Hill. We are the Hills that live in a valley.
TOPO Camping is a new venture that opened Easter weekend, 2018. We are a two-acre eco-friendly campsite (6 pitches). We are open to the general public throughout the year and are always on-site to assist guests. There is no minimum number of nights required for bookings.
Whatever kind of camping holiday you are looking for, cycling, fishing, exploring, or just watching the kites and buzzards soar over your heads whilst relaxing in the campsite. We have everything close by us here at TOPO Camping. We look forward to welcoming you to beautiful Maesycrugiau in the Teifi Valley.
TOPO Camping aims to be a small, simple, totally environmentally friendly, and most of all, peaceful site; a digital detox, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Being enthusiastic campers for years, choosing to holiday under canvass in the British Isles, rather than go abroad, we moved to the delightful hamlet of Maesycrugiau, nestled in the stunning Teifi Valley, in April 2017. It was always with the ambition to own and run a small tent only campsite on our two fields. One recently planted as an orchard, the other a wild meadow.
We wanted to create the site we had never found, despite our many years of camping. On every site we stayed on, there was always a snag, be it music or televisions playing in nearby pitches, mobile phone conversations we did not want to overhear, children crying, or loud conversations from fellow campers. Many is the time we have had to ask camping/caravanning neighbours to keep voices down, turn music down or off, and on one occasion we were woken by a television in a caravan at 6 o’clock in the morning. Not a pleasant experience. Therefore, TOPO Camping welcomes quiet people who are looking for peace, tranquillity and the chance to be in a beautiful valley with glorious views of the surrounding countryside.
If you think you might like to join us here, please browse the website further and we look forward to greeting you here in the stunning Teifi Valley.
